From the South and Southwest
- Take I-94 towards Chicago
- Take the I-290 W/Eisenhower Expy exit toward West Suburbs/Congress Pkwy/Chicago Loop
- Merge onto Eisenhower Exwy E/I-290 toward Congress Pkwy/Chicago Loop
- Take the exit toward Canal Street
- Turn left onto W. Harrison St. and then left onto S. Canal St.
- Union Station is located at the corner of Canal and Jackson streets
- Entrance to the self-park parking garage is located on S. Canal St. between Van Buren & Jackson on the left side of the street.
From the South Side along Lake Shore Drive
- Take South Lake Shore Drive north to downtown.
- Exit at Jackson Boulevard and head west 2 blocks to Michigan Avenue.
- Turn right (North) on Michigan Avenue and go 1 block to Adams Street.
- Turn Left (West) onto Adams Street to Clinton Street (10 blocks).
- Turn left on Clinton (South) to Jackson Street.

- I-88 E becomes Eisenhower Exwy E/I-290.
- Take the exit toward Canal St.
